Hello
I am an intuitive abstract artist who creates layered, contemplative paintings shaped by emotion, time, and process. Each work develops slowly through repeated gestures and subtle shifts, allowing depth and quiet tension to emerge. These paintings are created for collectors who value presence, restraint, and a lasting connection to the work.
My Story
Before 2021, I had never painted. Not at all.
As a child, I drew like most children do — simple scribbles without direction. Later, while studying ballet, I tried sketching ballerinas in pencil: legs, arms, movement, the language of the body. I could capture individual parts, but I lacked the skill to bring them together into a whole. Still, people often said, “You have a natural sense for this.”
In my youth, I experimented with drawing faces, again in pencil, but I never studied art formally and never pursued it seriously. At that time, my true world was numbers and logic. Mathematics felt natural to me.
Life shifted when I moved to the United States. Time passed, routines formed…
And then, unexpectedly, I watched a video of a Korean singer presenting a gift — a paint-by-numbers artwork. Something clicked instantly. I was captivated. I immersed myself in painting for several years.
In 2021, during the pandemic, with children at home and life on pause, I picked up a brush again. I found a tutorial on YouTube — and from that moment, everything changed. Art became essential.
I went deep into the process. And when I emerged, I understood it was time to create my own work — not copies, not exercises, but personal expression.
What followed were years of searching, reflection, and self-discovery.
Today, I am still in a state of becoming.
When I paint, I release tension and allow another part of myself to speak. My work reflects what is happening within me in the present moment. Each layer holds a different emotion, a different state of being, shaped by daily life, the surrounding world, and my own inner experiences.
Above all, I want my paintings to bring a sense of quiet pleasure.
Not to explain — but to be felt.
Welcome to my world.
