This work was born from observing the flowers in my own garden and from my personal connection with them. The white form in the composition is inspired by a Shasta daisy that I planted this year after the previous plant had died. For me, this new flower became a quiet symbol of renewal—a continuation of life in a place where something had been lost.

The purple area of the painting is inspired by clematis, one of my favorite flowers. Its rich color, expressive form, and distinctive growth have always attracted me with a beauty that feels both delicate and strong.

In the painting, the daisy and clematis are not represented literally. Their natural forms are transformed into large abstract fields of color, texture, and freely flowing lines. White and purple exist side by side as two different emotional states, united by a warm, earthy background. These flowers, their presence in my garden, and my personal feelings connected to them became the inspiration for this work.
