The ocean always leaves behind more than just the memory of a beautiful landscape. What remains is the feeling of its endless expanse, the movement of the waves, the ever-changing colors of the sky, and that special sense of freedom that comes from standing before the vastness of the water.

In “Echoes of the Ocean,” I wanted to capture not an exact representation of the ocean, but the way it lives in my memories. Deep blues and turquoise tones intertwine with the warm pinks, burgundies, and golden hues of the sunset. Contrasts become expressions of emotion, while free, expressive brushstrokes create a sense of the water’s constant movement.

For me, the contrast between the tranquility of the distant horizon and the energy of the ocean is especially meaningful. In this painting, they exist together, like two different feelings within a single memory. The layered texture adds depth to the surface, allowing light to interact with the colors in different ways and reveal new details.

“Echoes of the Ocean” is more than an abstract seascape. It is a memory of a moment that has long passed but continues to live through color, movement, and emotion.
